Not quite as obsessive today, but still got some stuff done. The main focus for today was adding damage effects and some sounds to the final boss. It does add a certain epicness when this huge thing is howling at you and chasing you through space, trailing sparks and debris the whole way. The two main issues remaining with the battle are a) the small enemies spawned by the boss are generally unable to keep up and get left far behind almost immediately, and b) there isn’t a proper effect for the boss finally dying. I can actually picture the effect, though, which is not nothing.
